In 1982, combining his love for motor sports and desire to provide a better means for transporting racecars to the track, Bruce Hanusosky created what is known today as High Tech Performance Trailers, Inc. One of his major contributions and significant advancements to racing was introducing the car liftgate concept to NASCAR teams.

Through the years, what started as the standard motor sports transporter has transformed to include corporate entertainment areas, hospitality structures, mobile learning and command centers, corporate display trailers, disaster service and technology trailers, to mention a few.

Bruce's background includes being a crew member with the BF Goodrich Tires off-road racing program, and racing go-carts to Winston Cup Vintage stock cars after working many years in automotive restoration. His eye for detail and quality workmanship, coupled with his experience, helped him to design a custom semi-trailer that would include space for the race cars as well as a lounge and meeting area. This combination had proven to meet the needs of many customers and continues to evolve to this day. Furthermore, Bruce has always made it a priority to hire skilled employees in all production areas to ensure that customers get the very best in quality and craftsmanship!

This team has led High Tech to become one of the premier companies in Lake County, Ohio and a leader in our industry. To help reach this objective the facility was expanded and work space doubled to 85,000 square feet in 2001 – thus increasing manufacturing capabilities and improving on the already high level of quality. The facility includes a state-of-the-art manufacturing operation featuring 3D-modeling, CNC machining, an 80' paint booth and an impeccably maintained production area.

From humble beginnings, High Tech has since expanded the semi-trailers to include custom designed expandable trailers for various markets, and maintains its position as a leader in the customized transporter industry today!
