Stealth Series Trailer Launch
Bruce Hanusosky and High Tech Performance Trailers, LLC launches its new line of "Stealth Series" Transporters, to be built in the Painesville, Ohio Facility.
As many of you know, in 2009, I entered into a joint venture with Kentucky Manufacturing in Louisville, Kentucky and moved production of our High Tech trailers there. My Painesville, Ohio plant continued to operate as the sole trailer service center for the joint venture, as well as, an independent trailer restoration facility.
The High Tech plant in Painesville, OH is celebrating its 31st anniversary building the best transporters available in the United States. Consequently, we have been blessed with some of the most loyal customers and repeat buyers in this industry. I have always taken pride in the fact that each and every transporter that High Tech built met the highest standards of quality for design integrity, durability and style. Unfortunately, the Louisville plant has not been able to duplicate the same standard of quality that we maintained in the Painesville facility for so many years. Therefore, on January 4th, 2012 the decision was made to dissolve the joint venture with Kentucky Manufacturing and discontinue that effort.
Beginning January 23rd, 2012, we will resume building High Tech trailers once again in our Painesville, Ohio plant. We will be operating as:
We will launch a new strategic plan to introduce the next generation of transporters for the racing industry. High Tech has always delivered cutting edge innovation in the racing transporter business and I feel that now is the perfect time to take the transporter industry to the next level by introducing our revolutionary new line of transporters called the "Stealth Series." True to High Tech's long standing reputation, the Stealth Series will encompass many exciting innovations in style and engineering design.
For starters, we will now build our trailers completely in-house, from the ground up. This means that for the first time, we will fabricate our own signature body shells. These new body shells will incorporate a number of design improvements. From the smooth, clean exterior which is literally free of exposed fasteners, huck bolts or rivets, to the smooth side walls which incorporate all extruded, radiused upper and lower rails, it all adds up to superior construction, which produces a significantly lighter weight body in comparison to our current body style. We have also developed a new, more aesthetically pleasing liftgate that utilizes the same basic tried and true construction principles with the added benefits of smoother lines and side doors that are incorporated into the complete structure. This is a very attractive and functional design. Due to its streamlined contour, the Stealth will pull with less drag than the current trailer design. That combined with its lighter overall weight will contribute to fuel efficiency, which also makes it budget friendly when every penny counts.
The evolution continues beyond the exterior where you will find lots of fresh, new interior design options. Most unique is the contemporary, lightweight aluminum interior made with various CNC produced billet hardware and accessories which give the interior a sleek, modern appearance. Cabinets are updated with more durable components and in general, are lighter in weight due to advancements in material and construction techniques. Innovative flooring materials lend themselves perfectly to custom imprinting and artwork. And new, state-of-the-art LED lighting and trim options contribute to the futuristic look.
Also, in March of 2012, we will begin construction on our extensive line-up of new "Stealth Series" gooseneck and tag style trailers, which are pictured below. They too will be available with the same smooth, clean lines and lightweight design features as the full sized Stealth transporters. As those of you who have visited the High Tech plant over the years already know, our shop is extremely clean, well-organized and is equipped with the latest C&C equipment, as well as, our 80 foot state-of-the-art paint booth to give you the best paint finishes available.

consists of the same team of the most experienced and meticulous engineers, fabricators, machinists, cabinetmakers and painters who have been with me for many years.
